Rules & Terms
First draft — this is a starting point to get something in front of players, not the final wording. It'll be replaced/expanded once the real rules and terms are settled.
How scoring works
- Every share you hold in a club earns you that club's points for a fixture — your total for a gameweek is shares × points, added up across every club you hold.
- Points come from match results, goals scored/conceded, discipline, and a handful of bonus categories (most shots on target, most corners, an away win, leading at half-time, an overturned half-time deficit, and a no-cards bonus) — see a club's breakdown on My Stats for exactly what fired in any given fixture.
- A gameweek's result only counts toward the official League Table once it's been double-checked and finalized — the Live table moves as matches are played, but can still change before that happens.
- Ties on the League Table are broken by goal difference, then goals scored, then discipline — all weighted by shares held, same as points themselves.
- A forfeited or abandoned match is still scored, using the rules' own stand-in result for that case, rather than dropped from the table entirely.
Prize pool
- Entering the prize pool costs the entry fee shown on Prizes — you're only in the pot, and only visible on the league tables, once that's been paid and confirmed by the Mogul.
- A small platform fee is taken off the top before the rest is split between the places shown on that same page — the split can change between seasons/events.
- Top Dog is its own place: whichever pet entry finishes highest, regardless of overall rank.
- Mini Mogul is a separate, stand-alone event with its own entry fee and its own pot — entering the main competition doesn't automatically enter you into a Mini Mogul one, or the other way round.
Terms (draft)
- Entry fees are generally non-refundable once paid, except at the Mogul's discretion.
- The Mogul (site admin)'s decision on any scoring dispute, forfeit, or edge case not explicitly covered here is final.
- Your account details (name, team name, login) are used only to run the competition — they aren't shared or used for anything else.
- The Mogul can adjust these rules, fees, or splits between events/seasons; changes apply going forward, not retroactively to an event already in progress.
